When you do not get answers look at your post . A simple to scale floor plan on graph paper is what is needed and make sure you show where the appliances are and every measurement clearly marked and windows too. Posted here in jpeg format in a comment.

There are no shadows if they're placed properly (close enough together). I have 6" cans spaced 48" apart (double rows). The don't light up the under-cabinet area, though, so you will need undercabinet lighting for the countertop workspace. You don't need an additional semi-flush fixture, or any other fixture really, if the cans are placed properly.

Lights centered over counter edge. One over sink on a separate sink, could be a pendant.

I have a 90" x 88" galley kitchen. Four recessed lights is plenty. You don't need a light in the center because the beams of the four lights will overlap eliminating any shadows. Arranging the two left-hand lights on either side of the cooktop as displayed above makes sense.

Unless you have no space above the ceiling, don't use wafer lights whose lenses are flush with the ceiling. Instead use 4" (6" are big and ugly) lights whose lenses are regressed to reduce glare. Be sure the lights are dimmable. I prefer lights with 3500K color temperature but you can buy lights with adjustable color temperature and experiment to find the one you prefer. Examples:
