Need Help with Decorating

Im trying to decorate this space and Im struggling with how to decorate the window benches and windows. We don’t need window coverings for privacy on any of the window, and we need them uncovered for light bc the house is dark inside. Also struggling with additional furniture besides our new couch. HELP!

I would turn the sofa along the window wall, and move the tv to the long windowless wall, with a long console under it. Then put some beautiful artwork over the fireplace, and add roman blinds and a large rug in coordinating colors.

Sofa needs at least one more piece. Right now it looks like two chairs pushed together.

It would help to have a sketch of the room with dimensions, including the sofa dimensions. Your room looks narrow, which is difficult. The sofa is barricading access, not welcoming anyone. Could you move the TV to the long wall? Then sofa against the outside wall, even though that covers a bit of window, then one comfy chair where the sofa is.

Do you actually want to use the window seats as seating? You could remove the cushions and use them as a built-in table for a lamp and few books, then put a good chair right in front of the one furthest from the sofa.

The sofa is designed to be two chases together. It’s a sofa daybed. Turning everything is an option, it’s just all the hookup for the tv and surround sound is in one of the window benches

Room is 15 feet long and 11 feet wide so quite narrow. Not interested in keeping the windows as benches if there’s another option

We should have seen the latest photo first. It is not a couch.

We call it a couch lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well, LOL, it is not a couch and the incorrect description would lead commentators down the wrong path.

Sorry, but that massive TV ruins the space and the fireplace. Pay someone to place it to the left of the doors going to the pool. Put the sofa on the long wall. Add art over the fireplace instead that pulls the eye to the fireplace focal point. Here are several that you can get in large sizes with modern wood frame at society6.com. Your room needs color, so pull accent colors from art work.

Add another great beach art work horizontally over the sofa against the wall facing the TV or a pair, also from society6.com side by side.

Get two armchairs to face the fireplace. I like this comfortable chair because it suggests a beach chair. Order something like this in a color you pull from art work you choose and/or from a rug. (Keep window benches. They add coziness and extra seating when you entertain.)

Anchor your sofa and chairs on a large patterned rug in light beige, grays,

and colors from art works. I like the one below because it has the shape of the pool and beach colors without being too "beachy."

Here's a TV opposite a large sofa in a long narrow room. You won't have room for a console, but you'll want to ground TV (and put wires, controls, etc. in an attractive modern "box."

Look for a piece like this to "ground" the TV and store wires, etc.

Yeah the TV is too big for the space also and we were planning on downsizing. I like your ideas. Thanks!

Add some art to the empty walls by choosing abstract pieces featuring flowing, organic shapes in earthy tones. These artworks will complement your existing color scheme and add a modern, sophisticated touch. By seamlessly integrating with your decor, they’ll enhance the overall ambiance and make your space feel even more like home.

First off - it's a great space!! Folks here at houzz have give you some wonderful inspiration photos. Would suggest you pick a room that you like and use it as inspiration for your room. Wouldn't suggest you duplicate exactly as that is impossible but replicate with similar pieces, colors, etc.

Perhaps a layout like this could work in your room with the lounge chairs at an angle with a round table - across from TV on the wall, an area rug, art above the fireplace, and roman shades on the windows and patio doors.
