It’s like asking what the best color is for a car.

Post images of the kitchen. What counters do you have? Do you have a backsplash? What kind of floor? How much natural light? What kind of lighting is there in the space? Wood cabinets or painted?

Thanks for the response! Guess I should’ve been more specific…. It’s a total gut job, along with an addition off the back of our house so unfortunately we don’t have ANY counters, backsplash, floors, or even a window at this point so I’m not sure on the natural light to be honest. Lol! All I know is our cabinet guy uses SW & I want a Greige color. Was just looking for what colors people have used to give me some inspiration.

Agreeable Gray is one of SW’s best selling paints and it is arguably greige. I really prefer lighter versions of it, like Incredible White. Other highly popular options include Accessible Beige (beige with gray undertones) and Perfect Greige. I think they are pretty colors but darker than i would go for my cabinets.

What direction are the windows facing and do you have rooms in your home that will approximate the light conditions in this room. Whatever color you select will appear differently in different lighting.

What will the flooring be in adjoining rooms and will you be selecting flooring based on complimenting that or just picking something entirely different for here? I'd think a tad bit about that when considering cabinet color.

Why does the CABINET guy want a griege color? Is that what you asked for, or is he directing the color here (he shouldn't be)? What color do YOU want?

Cabinets should not be painted with trim paint. A professional uses an industrial wood coating.
