I am in the very incipient stages of a master bathroom remodeling. I have not yet decided on the final layout of the room, but fell in love with this grey and white faux marble porcelain mosaic / cassettone tile for the bathroom floor (10'x7') and looking to get your opinion on what tile I should choose for the shower wall (small shower, 48"x48"). The shower floor would be a 2x2 grey hexagon.

Which option do you prefer? 1, 2 or 3? Also, your thoughts on the cassettone tile look? Will it look outdated in a few years?

Option 1

12x24 faux marble (same pattern as the X in the mosaic). I am concerned that the large format tile might overwhelm the shower (since the length of the shower will be 48"), but like the matching aspect. I could also look into a smaller size marble look tile (3x12).

Matte white kite tile with grey undertones

Option 3

White glossy subway tile with a handmade look
