I love the granite but don't see a lot of gray in it. I see it matching well with beige or off white subway tiles better. It would let the beautiful granite shine too!

Boy, there must be an unending supply of that particular granite! I have it in my kitchen. :) I went w/cream color porcelain subway size tiles for the backsplash. Used the same tile but in 18" squares for the floor, set on the diagonal since I have a narrow kitchen. I have SS appliances and range hood, which is plenty of grey, IMO.

It always help bringing a sample of whatever u believe is a possibility to the house only after counter us installed... Did u try that?
