I am the lady who posted above - i need to add more to my post - we moved about 9 months ago - have been waiting to decorate until the punch list is complete. we have an old lab (15 years) hence the rug pads on our floor so she won't slip. we have the Currey Nottingham Chandelier in the LR and Darlana lanterns in the Kitchen. the DR chandelier seems to be "dressier" than the house and the direction i want to go in with decor. the DR table is 72" round with a rustic iron base (i love the table). One idea i have is to use a smaller Nottingham chandelier (36" round) in the space - i love this light fixture (the finish is beautiful) - but not sure if it is right for the space. the DR is approx 14' square. Thanks for suggestions!
