In my garden disease resistance is excellent, no spray for black spot. Fragrance is 2.5 out of 5. Nothing outstanding about fragrance, but still a nice whiff, but up close only.

The bloom is big, 4.75" but flat, no height. It is beautiful looking straight down on it, but sideways is not its strong point. Foliage is super tough, almost too nice, looks almost artificial.

I recommend it, but mine are not yet mature bushes, 3-4 yrs. The thick bloom necks do nod a bit, but not terribly, after all, the blooms can get large and heavy, especially after a rain. Growth habit is bushy, rounded, not vertical, say like Memorial Day. Height here seems to be between 3-4'. Am having concerns wondering why it is slowish to repeat bloom after deadheading. The cut stems just sit there a long time before buds swell and a new stem is initiated. Could be the hot, hot weather here this year.

I cannot say Enough good things about this rose It's putting on a lot of growth this year and is at least on it's 3rd flush so I don't know what to say to Moses experience with rebloom. Vapor, it could be my garden which is an inferno during the majority of the growing season. Some roses repeat astonishingly well here, others take their time, evidently. People who know roses and visit my rose garden during the heat of the day feel like they themselves are being rotisserie roasted. The roses need tons of water to give their best and they get it.

One thing about Bliss is its height...much taller and certainly not a floribunda as is reported by Kordes and repeated on HMFR. The rose is growing on me day by day. Its long, generally straight stems, seem to come out of the crown at 45° to 35° to the vertical, not as upright as many hybrid teas, but quite beautiful in bush form, nonetheless.

The two bare root Bliss bushes I got from Home Depot as you also did getsome at those good prices ended up dying on my porch. I was too sick to do anything about their loss. I stiill have my other three, in ground bushes to enjoy. Feeling pretty good now. 😁

I have Bliss here in Z5 and she's about 4 feet, healthy and good repeat. Very disease resistant too. I would get another one, and I rarely by doubles!
