Im moving into a home with decorative ceilings that probably havent been cleaned in 15 years. The ceiling is painted, and I’m assuming the tiles are tin as it is a 1909 house. I wanted to paint the ceiling but have been advised against it by more experienced DIY friends. (Dying to replace those lights and I’m sure there will be discoloration.) Does anyone know an effective way of cleaning this? The ceiling is throughout the whole (small) apartment
