It is a dark palette for a not-very-light-filled space, but I see where you are going with this. How would you feel about these?

Shell White is a warm white, Natural Linen is a yellow that looks like a lighter tone of the cabinets you are painting. Watery is a green blue that is a great choice for cabinets, really pretty. Check out the blog post below. Their kitchen is brighter than yours appears in the images, so your look would be a little more subdued. They oaired it with a cooler white, also an option if you like the look.

Inspiration images are definitely a great place to start. See what’s out there, see what catches your eye.

Definitely don’t want to go yellow - much better idea for cool or shell white and a blue or a lighter green helps keep it bright but adds color.

Your kitchen seems like a good one for white uppers and green lowers. Matching white walls.

The counters seem to have a green/gray undertone...so complement that color with green lower cabs and the tall pantry.

If the upper cabs were the same white as the walls and soffit, it would really open things up.

I would also paint the wood trim white.

Agree with a bit lighter green. I had an email recently I wish I’d kept. It highlighted a color called White Sage that was very pretty. It might have been this one. Positive it wasn’t SW or BM.

Would be dark with your colors. Good suggestion to go with white/off-white upper cabinets.

Hi, really love all these colors. In my kitchen I chose SW Natural Linen uppers and SW Oyster bay on lowers and island.

I would do it in a soft white the ceiling and the walls the same color it will expand everything and lighten things up

Should you decide against painting the cabinets, you may find inspiration in this kitchen with similar cabinet and floor colors. I love the contrast of black with the maple tones.

We painted our maple cabs to SW Alabaster on top and SW Sagauro on the bottom, we have good lighting, went with mostly white counter and white backsplash, There is nothing dark about my kitchen now.

Start with your flooring.

You need both the cabinet color and the wall color to work with your flooring.

It generally isn't difficult to find a green that works with wood tones, but finding the neutral off white is where we run into difficulty.

Some neutrals are going to pull green, some purple, some pink, some blue, some yellow next to your flooring. Those undertones come out when the undertones in the flooring are different than the undertones in the wall color.

I picked Natural linen for my sister's home because the flooring had some pink/purple undertones and it looked beautifully neutral next to her flooring. Natural Choice looked green.

I have seen just the opposite when people specify color choices here on DD, where they used Natural linen and felt it looked pink so they changed to Natural Choice and it looked beautifully neutral.

With your flooring I would bet Natural Linen will work well, but that is judging from an internet picture, which are notoriously bad.

If you have a sample of your flooring that you can take outside I would look at the various tones outside in natural daylight. All of the undertones are easier to detect outside.

Once you have the neutral selected you will be able to pick a green that works with both the wall color and the flooring.

Start with the free paper color samples from the paint store. When you have narrowed things down to a 1/2 dozen colors order samples from samplize.com. They are painted samples and a good size.

This is an example of some colors I sampled shown in natural daylight. Inside the two tiles really looked the same, but with natural daylight you can see the Kitchen/LR tile has a lot more pink.
