Name That Plant!

I should know this, but ...

daninthedirt (USDA 9a, HZ9, CentTX, Sunset z30, Cfa)

These shrubs are about five feet tall, and are flowering profusely. Leaves are distinctive, with about twenty tiny ones on each stem. Pods are large - several inches long. When dried, the seeds inside them are flattened oval, brown, and around a third of an inch across. Name?

Caesalpinia pulcherrima, I believe. Same question came up a week or so ago.

Thank you. Yes. I vaguely remembered that the name had something to do with the Caribbean, and indeed it is known as Pride of Barbados. I see it survives in zone 8, which usually works for me, though this particular plant has been hit by some vile freezes, and I guess it just comes back from the roots. I'll plant the seeds and see if I can cultivate more plants.
