WHAT??? The TV is too high now . Why a gas FP at all? It will sit out with a mantel and make it awkward to use the walk spaces next to the doorways IMO you have not thought this out and whoever is doing the FP should be mentioning the issues Taht wall would be much better with nothing on it but a piece of art Maybe post a to scale floor plan here showing all the meaurements onf the space all windows , doorwyas clearly marked so we can get a feel for the whole space . Use boxwes on the floor to get a feel for how anything jutting out from that TV wall is going to affect moving in and out of the spac e

Try an electronic/digital fireplace instead - more environmentally friendly and less construction/plumbing friendly.

Sorry, but that is not a pleasing composition. TV is mounted way too high in the room, being forced into that position by the fireplace.

Find a different wall for the TV or if not, change the gas fireplace shape

As YOU look at your blue tape lines, do the proportions look good to you? I think Beverly has posted some great pics, but that is already a busy wall electrically. We did a 55” tv above an 42” electric insert with a fun graphical tile on the whole wall. You have to allow for heat to protect any mantle, sound bar, and tv.

Tv is too high, and a large black box (tv) over a smaller black box (fp) is always going to look top heavy. Please don’t do this!
