Just looks like an octagon tile. More commonly you'd see the reverse color scheme, white with a small blue accent tile. But, I agree this looks really nice. Not sure where to get something like this.

That is all going to be custom cut in the field, by a higher end tile specialist. Plus, being marble, it's all going to be on the high end price range to accomplish, for prep, materials, and labor. I loved watching that video. Glad you posted it. Here are close ups of the floor from 1st Dibs. I'm sure it was quite expensive and I'd be surprised if you could echo it without custom tiles.

@Kendrah @Minardi you confirmed my fears, ha! It really is so beautiful. Now the question is, how to obtain a similar look? I just find smaller format versions far too busy whereas this is making me drool! I'd love something classsic black and white leaning darker but not as busy as a penny or basket weave. Back to the hunt 🕵️

The corners on a larger tile are clipped off and the small square is set into the opening.

1–that dark tile is not an octagon tile—an octagon tile has 8 equal sides. That is a square tile that has been clipped at same angle/size on each corner to have a smaller square of different tile added—
They have to be the same thickness to avoid lippage.
Look at this photo and see if you like the pattern as much as the one you posted. This one does not require as much cutting—and if you can find smaller tiles you like in right size you don’t need to do any cutting—because the pattern is an off-set/staggered one vs straight like the one posted.

That photo has smaller tiles than in mine—those were 17 or 20” sq tiles so not as busy

U could probably do it with rectangular tiles too

Just an fyi, an octagons sides don’t have to be equal, just 8 sides and the sum of the interior angles = 1080 degrees. Doesn’t help in sourcing tile but since we’ve all got computers in our hands, let’s use them.

Also, if you really can’t find a good substitute, this would be an easy enough DIY project. These aren’t difficult technical cuts, and you could save a good bit on labor by doing these yourself (renting the proper tile cutter and a little practice) or at least marking all the tiles yourself for someone else to cut. You never know if the price is doable until you speak with the person you may hire , and have physical examples in hand.

Thank you everyone for your input! I’ve located a 7” limestone octagon w/ white marble corner inserts through Francois & Co. https://francoisandco.com/products/nero-antica-octagon. It will be $26.40sf for those wondering. I’m really excited and will post pics here in a few months following install!

Now to choose a tile for the shower/tub combo. I‘m thinking vertically stacked Bedrosians Celine in white but that may be too creamy for the white marble…I’ll wait on that decision until most everything is installed but ideas are appreciated!!

I’m now shifting to wanting to do something like the above photos in my laundry room. Given that the bathroom floor will be charcoal/black I’d like to carry that color through to the laundry but in a different pattern. Any idea what this pattern is called?

Those tiles with all the grout lines will be pita to sweep/clean
And black with show everything landing on it
