Travertine slippery. Need help to fix.

We just installed 1900 sf of travertine around our pool 3 months ago. It is natural and not sealed.. 3 weeks ago very serious slip fall accident (requiring 911 call) on the wet stairs has us in a panic. What do we do to ensure no one else gets injured. It is hard to enjoy the pool and backyard now.

No way to insure that no one else gets injured when you have slippery tiles, stairs and wet people. I assume you have the appropriate handrails? Or maybe you need to add some?

Maybe the problem is wet stairs and not the material that is on them?

A photo of the stairs would help.

I just googled "travertine too slippery around pool" and many links showed up. This company sells anti-slip coatings. You might want to do some research on similar products and if they are worth it..
