With black windows you could go black trim and gray body color. White as a third color could be used to highlight architectural detail.

White with black trim is pretty much fail-safe.

What color is your roof? Is any part of your home brick or stone? Are there shutters?

I don’t blame you for wanting to avoid gray. I’m a sage green fan myself.

You can always add color with the front door.

Sherwin Williams Escape Gray is a nice Sage green. This is white trim but black/charcoal works with Sage.:

Evergreen Fog is a step darker and very nice, too.

Have you seen any houses in your area in white and black, or in sage and black yet? Do you like the look? Those color schemes are very handsome in person.
