The lighter one seems to go with your vanity. It also seems a little more compartmentalized, so that might be a benefit.

Here is a fuller view when it was just about finished.

The lighter wood. Yes they are fun to style. I actually use mine. Until I had kids, my MO was to take a bath every morning, before work (which for several years included 7:30am daily meetings, argggh). I found it a gentler way to wake up. Once we had kids even that 15-20 minutes was too much time to "waste."

The lighter one would be my pick. Mostly because the darker one looks like a window shutter, with little stability to hold a wine glass.

I will be the outlier and say neither. The tub is so pretty, I wouldnt add anything. However if you really want one Id go for Teaky Tarjay just because water wont pool on top.

In my opinion I would prefer a bath caddy, those trays on the tub are an inconvenience unless you’re reading. Try these

Even if not used often, or maybe especially if not used often, I think those bath trays look fabulous so I would definitely get one. We opted to forgo the tub for a larger shower, but if I had a tub I would definitely get have one of those.

I like the slatted one better - I agree it looks like it will drain better and be easier to clean, and dedicated compartments tend to be awkward, IMPE - not always fitting my things.

I like the solid lighter one...but for soap...the little wire basket that Olychick posted is perfect! Cool set up! 💕

I really like the metal ones, as others have shown, for your bathroom. I think the style and simplicity of that type would look so much nicer in this case.

Thank you for all the feedback. I kept going back and forth, thinking neither was terrible and wasn't sure if one was really better. I was hoping everyone would say one was clearly better... and while maybe more said the lighter, several liked the darker.

I should have mentioned that the slatted one is much heavier and also has ridges to fit on the tub which is a very useful feature.

When Mtn posted hers, I realized I hadn't sen the wire ones and really liked it.

I don't know why but with all my searches, they were only showing wood or plastic. I do like the wire ( and it seems so practical with the drip through slats.

I'll look around a bit more and I think I 'll likely return the ones I have here.
