Hello. We are replacing our floors and need some thoughts from people who have got flooring done . Basically we wanted to change our tile floor to wooden . The rooms already have wooden flooring but hallway and kitchen did not have. We decided to replace tile and other room flooring with Vinyle flooring. When the tiles were demolitioed we noticed that wooden flooring we have are the glued ones. In last 5 years we have not faced any problem with flooring. Even though we have crawling space the floor never made any sound when we walked or when my kids jumped. The rooms flooring looks perfect as of now. We were planning to change just to maintain symmetry. Ever since i got to know about the glued floor i have second thoughts and I am wondering if I should retain those floor rather then changing it with Vinyl. Has anyone in this group got the flooring done, moved from glued to Vinyl and have crawling space? How is your experience so far? Any suggestions will be helpful
