Many Agaves look alike. And they can be even harder to distinguish when they are stretched out for lack of adequate light. Where did it come from?

She’s had them for about five years and says the person she got them from called them agave parryi but the picture we googled doesn’t look anything like this. I had not considered the stretched out part though so that does make a lot of sense…

There are a number of parryi hybrids, so maybe. Was the person she got it from a collector?

I believe so, yes. I will ask that when I see her at work next week as well but in the meantime she says she keeps it indoors but in bright direct sunlight.

In summer, acclimate it to full sun outdoors. Where are you located?
