Current house · More Info

We have a low pitched one story spanish style with a tile roof. We replaced the roof with a new barrel tile when we bought the home, but have had so many leaks that our roofer agreed to reroof one side of the house but that unfortunately did not fix the problem. Now we are looking to go a different route but worried it will take away from the architecture of the home. would love some input from anyone. We are considering a few options:

1. doing a dark architectural shingle roof with a copper roof on the turret.

2. doing a black metal roof. painting the house white and installing black windows.

we love the spanish tile roof look but it has been nothing but problems.
