I have a tree form Limelight Hydrangea that needs some shaping. It sounds like it's best to prune in early spring, but I'm going to be out of the country February through April, and I wonder if May might be a little late. I'd really like to do it this fall or early winter if it wouldn't hurt the plant. Any experts out there who know?
