We are purchasing a home that has wallpaper in one bedroom. The current owners stated they investigated taking it down and were informed that it was improperly applied and taking it off would result in removing the top of the Sheetrock surface. Fast forward the owners stated that tge wallpaper professional recommended putting a sealer over the paper which was done. I don't mind the paper but hate the border across the top. Think I am stuck. Any advice?
