You did good job, I actually like minimalist modern landscape. May be to bring some color?

    Hire is some option

Thank you. I had not thought about adding color. I'll consider this.

    Nothing under the front windows?

Wow, that's really boring. I'd do a mix of grasses. Pink Muhly is pretty. I'd stagger pavers and have some grass between them, to break up the concrete.

Don't like bushes by the windows. I might put a planter under them however.

I am keeping it simple so that it can sell in the next few years. However, some extra zing isn't a bad thing. Pink Muhly would not fit into the neighborhood in any way, but thank you for the suggestion!

I was thinking of something spiky or sculptural looking under the windows as a counterpoint to all the little green balls in your mock-up.

I am still waiting for pics of the actual house on the actual lot, I have no idea that neighbor hoods dictated plants .

Do you realize that your black garage door takes up as much visual and actual space as your house? That black garage door should be painted white. Add a pergola on top to further soften all that bulk.

You have so many straight angles to the house. These are some landscaping tips to soften the house. This is too much landscaping for your place, but note curved walkways and planting beds and how it softens the angles of the house. Note the small tree, something you images include. Oh, and white garage doors.

--A small tree on the right will help. Dig out a round garden bed around your tree and mulch it. This will add curves to the landscaping and protect the tree from lawn mowers.

--You said you don't want foundation plantings. Here's a curved garden bed away from the house. Note the high and low plantings. Get advice from a small garden center for the best plantings in your zone. I love how this pergola extends the the small house, which would balance all that garage.

--If you're allowed to have a small front patio, that would be an inviting addition to the house and brought to the edge of the garage. In your yard, the strip of earth could be planted with a variety of high and low shrubs.
