If you want dried flowers on your walls, I'd make large art out of them and hang them. Why don't you just do wallpaper?

Will the decoupage not destroy the walls and the stenciling need to be sanded off?

I have never done it before. Do you have an inspo photo of a finished space? Perhaps you could first staple a canvas tarp to the wall and then stencil the mud on top of that. It would make removal easier.

I have dried and pressed flower for years as a gardener and artist. Pressed flowers are nice for things like greeting cards but their color fades over time. The stenciling for texture with joint compound would last longer but could be sanded on or floated over when ready for a change. I do a lot of ceramics with texture from botanicals The concrete on my pottery shed has fig leaves prints. So you could experiment with using leaves or flowers to imprint texture in joint compound spread on cardboard. You can mix cornstarch and silicone sealant to make molds/stamps of flowers so you don't need a bushel of leaves. Experiment before starting on walls.

Kelly Walker, artstarbaltimore on IG, does a fish scale plaster wall treatment which is gorgeous, and Marian McEvoy does pressed flowers better than anyone (hers are on canvases). So certainly doable ideas. Good luck!

Dried seeds and flowers often get bugs. Imprinting the texture would work better than partially embedding bug-edible seeds and flowers in a wall.

Get some fabulous botanical art and not a bit of dried stuff collecting dust with no way to clean it . Maybe check out anaglypta botanical wall paper and with a lot of work you could hand paint it for a really cool look and original

If you are crafty, you could have a field day!!

None of these are difficult; you control the size and colors; they are easily removed and changed for different seasons easily.
