hi

so i planted a couple miscanthus sinensis gracillimus last fall. They have grown about 4 ft tall and are looking healthy. When do these usually bloom? i see some thick stalks starting to come above the blades....are these what usually produces those flowers? i was really hoping on seeing them bloom but seems kinda late 🤷🏻‍♂️....im in the northeast.
