The Lady Gardener rose

Hello,

I would love feedback on DA’s The Lady Gardener rose.

I purchased mine potted from DA in May of 2023. It was a very hot season and it was planted when it was already quite warm. It didnt bloom until that following autumn and the blooms were nothing to write home about.

Spring of 2024 it was first to bloom, but the blooms weren't too exciting. It hasn't bloomed all summer.

It feels like maybe getting a late start and dealing with record heat just didnt set it up for success. I keep making excuses for it but now it's taking up precious real estate.

I got a grafted one this spring from Hortico. I planted it in one of my many tough spots. We had a hot summer and very long periods of drought most of the summer. I was glad the plant just stayed alive. I saw a bloom or two, barely noticed. I have zero expectations of it right now. With good roots it is apt to take hold during the winter. I might get some good blooms next year but since the plant has had such a challenge I will just hang in there with it awhile. It is apt to get better. But I'll be glad to hear how other people's are doing too.
