Just a couple today

last year
last modified: last year

We have been super busy here. We have finished moving around the daylilies (we have run out of time and the tractor is broken down--waiting on repair). We still have to plant the potted daylilies--will do that this week.-- and clean up the seedling beds. When the tractor is repaired, we have to till the seedling beds and sow the winter rye. The big job is cleaning the greenhouse and getting everything back into it. Many of the tropicals don't like temperatures in the 40s at night so we need to get that job done pronto.

We found 3 daylilies in bloom recently. One flower, Peter Pan's Kiss, was beaten up by the rain, but we have a couple that were worthy of a photo.

Tom Adams blooms in the greenhouse, usually in March, and then reblooms in the late summer or fall. I love this flower. I wish it were hardy.
