I like the table and height. Maybe an area rug under the table to ground in room?

Rug

Mapped out for an area rug. Costo has this one for $60. I was looking at it on Sunday and it was $20. less. but at the time I didn't have a use for it. Still a good price at 60 bucks though.

Wanted to add, I do have the other two chairs that go with that set that I could use instead of the bench.

I like the rug you picked out and agree 4 chairs you could still have bench in the area would it work under the window? I like you table under mirror too! Nice and thick lol

No real new update yet. the only thing I did was move the white bench and put the other two matching chairs with the table. Just trying to live with smaller, shorter table to get a feel of day to day use. DS comment was that the table is too short but I think he's just used to the counter height table. What I really like about the taller table is I'm able to use it like and island for additional counter/prep space. I've had round, oval, rectangle tables. I like the way a round table looked but you are limited to only 4 chairs and a lot of time the chairs dont push all the way in. A rectangle table you can seat up to 6 and possibly 8 if really needed. I still may try out the costo rug. if I dont end up using that table, I can always use the rug under the coffee table. Looking at my pics, I feel like a rug(s) would help in living room and dining area and the windows look bare.
