What a great space! so many options but definitely daunting!! I’m assuming you have a home office or study elsewhere? otherwise could put one in the sitting area /green room. But if not then a nice sitting area with a sofa and chair. Then in bedroom/yellow maybe add some chairs and ottomans at the end of the bed and a pretty bureau or console table on the 2 empty walls, see pics and terrible rendering lol. I like your idea of the coffee bar in the gray cubby and in the orange/foyer you could do a narrow console and mirror - see pic below. Can’t wait to see what you do! post pics when its done!

But ....the point is you needn't slam a bed against a wall.

Put a nice console behind in the windows.

Any designer who takes 50 k and disappears? Any client who isn't SCREAMING at the top of her lungs?

The client should be suing the designer. I"d like to see the contract that preceded the check FOR 50 K........

This is too big a room to be crowd sourcing to a five hundred post thread of suggestions. You need a new designer, local to you.

I like the bed on that right- side wall; it would definitely work but I’m not sure about floating it- can it work without floating Jan? Put a couple of chairs at the end ? TV placement is much better where you moved it as well.

That is ahuge space for sure but not all bedroom I love this idea in a large bedroom space maybe use this for inspiration

What "right side" wall? The float allows that bed to have a great view of tv, and room for side tables. Could you fit it IN the bay? I need a "more information measure. Floating?

It takes the cumbersome bulk AWAY from your bedroom entrance.

I'm not in love with your side tables, too heavy and solid and bulky. I would be rid of them in any scenario.

The "sitting area" wall is too far from a logical tv wall.

Do I have a better looking idea?

You could add a knee wall. add electricity. Go tape that off and see how much space would be behind.

Jan by ’right side wall” I was referring to where you placed the floating bed- I didn't realize that was a bay window! lol I agree, placement is better for flow and tv viewing with your sketch.

It will NOT block all of the window. I said.....low knee wall. You have a nine foot ceiling! Add a picture of the bay......measure all three of those bay window walls, and also from the ends and corners of all ... directly to the opposite AND BETTER tv wall.

Love seeing all the windows!! beautiful.! you got this- it’s going to look great! Love the accent wall and yes! to the beautiful console somewhere in the house! I also think after seeing the pics that the tv is fine right where it is. As for the the gray/ cubby space - I still like the coffee bar idea best -or put a pretty desk there. In the bedroom foyer I still like either a console with tucked stools and a miror or a pretty bench maybe. So many options! Keep us posted!

Maybe something like this for the niche? could be a coffee bar or just a spot to display pretty things. If dont want to do a built in you could find a pretty curved hutch.

If you get any (free) good ideas here, great. But you would be better off if you spent your energy: 1) finding a lawyer to sue the disappearing designer; and 2) finding another local interior designer to actually see the largest master bedroom I've ever encountered and create a design scheme that makes the best use of what could be a space worthy of a magazine spread.

Yes, I have hired an attorney which will take time, but in the meantime, I still need a bedroom to sleep in and love ASAP.

I own a few Airbnb‘s, and they are gorgeously decorated by me! But it is a little bit different when it is your own private space and not something that you can just grab from popular trends to make lovable by many.

Since this is my own personal space, I really need extra effort put into it and your ideas have been so helpful. I appreciate all of you so so so much!
