May be reading too much into this but was considering cafe curtains as part of my kitchen remodel. I wanted something stylish that wouldnt be too hard to clean and wasn’t keen on roller blinds. I have since come across numerous articles that talk about closing currains and blinds to prevent theft. My thought is that you can’t

see much over cafe curtains unless the would be thief is tall and that if someone wants to they will break in anyhow. In the meantime I’ve tacked fabric to my windows to try it out but am curious to know what others think. Thanks in advance!
