Where are they located? Are they the manufacturer or the dealer? If the manufacturer, what series or line? If dealer whose cabinets and what series or line? Google search shows quite a few so the exact who needs to be dialed in a bit as this can be a world wide forum.

It looks like they're in Philly Metro where you would have a lot of options, and their reviews are mixed. Keep looking and learn more about cabinets in general before making a decision. There are tons of articles on Houzz about cabinets. Here is one to get you started:

The contractor we are using is well know in our area of upstate NY. They recommended these cabinets (21st Century shaker style -Dove white). Bear in mind we are updating very old cheap as possible kitchen cabinets from the original builder 30+ years ago and not looking to spend a million dollars in our small apartment kitchen. What brands do you recommend?

Diamond/Kemper/Schrock is always a good option. Middle of the road pricewise, and easily found in most markets. Semi custom, so you can alter a few things, and lots of standard options for other things.

Ikea IMO best bang for your buck and a decent warranty .

21st Century Cabinets is a distributor/importer of products made overseas in Asia. I wouldn't go near them.

I would not take a contractor's recommendations no matter how well known they are.

Ikea is by far the best bang for your buck. They are fantastic cabinets that have such a good reputation for longevity, they are not only used in budget situations. Most contractors I've talked to don't like using them. They don't want to do the assembly. It isn't worth their time. I'd find a contractor that can work with them.
