1980s Half Vaulted ceiling, painting walls

How the heck do I paint these walls, where to end color, or hang artwork? Do I paint the loft the same color or can I do a different color? The first three are downstairs and last one is the loft.

I would keep it the same swiss coffee, rather than going darker.

The rug and furniture is the same but have added more and more lamps as well.

If I wanted to go with a moody color, like a dark green or navy, still paint the same color up in the loft?

Looking at your photos, I would do the walls all the same as cat Ky suggested.

I personally wouldn't like dark in that space so I'm not sure help there.

It looks like you could paint the loct another color as there is a divide there.

One color for all and as for art it is hung for the center to be approx 62-65 " from the floor that ceiling has nothing to do with that so unless you plan ahuge piece of art the art is hung like the vaut is not there .
