Really can't comment on this at all unless we see the context in which it will be placed. What does your home look like? What other furniture will be in that space?

What will the desk be used for? If there will be a computer on it, consider where power cords will go. Do you need the drawer space for office supplies, paperwork, etc?

I'm a function over form type - I think a piece of furniture that serves its purpose well is a thing of beauty!

The first one would look nice in the room and has more storage. Seems as though the room can take the larger piece. What els would you like to have in the room? Chair, lamps, drapery?

Sorry an empty room tells us nothing about the style of the rest of the house and IMO if this space is seen with the rest it needs to go with it. Alsi is this a truly working office or just a home office ? I actually do not like either of those but how do I know what might work? Post the other pics here in comments DO NOT start another post .

If you don't want to show other rooms in your home, what design style would you like in this room? Also, really need to know how much storage you need in this desk (or will there be other pieces of furniture to store items?)

For example, as an attorney, I need to have a desk that will hold legal files and legal pads, etc. I have a console behind my desk that helps with a lot of the storage I need + a file cabinet (but it looks like a nice accent table/end table.

Also, which way will the desk face in the room = will the back (= the side where your chair goes) of the desk show (because the desk will be placed against a wall/window) or will the front of the desk show (= the side opposite of where your desk chair will be)?

IMO we are working in the dark at least maybe show us styles you like instead of a bunch of desks with no context . This is like do you like these shoes with the dress but we do not see the dress. You do not pull decor out of a hat it has to work in a home with all the rest of the stuff IMO A home office is also not in need of a huge space at what apperas to be the front of your home . A small space not on display is a great way to have functional home office . Waht do you need to function in the space like file drawers, books really no info gets IMO no help
