It’s a very glitzy / glamour look. Modern too. I searched on it & found both 6 & 8 light versions both have 50 watt max bulbs. It’s larger than looks at 32” long for 6 light & 42” long for 8 light x 12” wide. It seems too large for bedroom but might be cool in entry or DR

I think it would work best in a dining room over a rectangular table.

A linear fixture light that works best over a dining room table or kitchen island.

Typically a round fixture would be better suited to a living room.

A question without any context gets no answers IMO We need to see your space and some idea why you ask.

I thought that shape/type of chandelier is meant for the dinner room/kitchen counter.

The salesperson told me it can be used in the living room and bedroom knowing that I was shopping for living room and bedroom light fixtures.

I agree with your thought that this light is meant for DR or Island counter - its shape seems to make that a logical choice. Did you note the image @Userposted? That lighting design might be available in a round shape which would work for a bedroom which is what you’re looking for.

It's been discontinued and they only have the rectangular shape left in store.

I am unable to find online the style that @ArchitecturalDetails posted and other stores that are withing 2 hours drive.

@Love My Home I tried a Google Lens search with a copy of the image @User posted. I didn’t find the exact match but did find very close matches both at lighting stores & Amazon. Maybe she’ll come back & tell you where she found that image. It’s disappointing when we find something we really like & it doesn’t quite work in the situation. But, having found that style that appeals does narrow your search a bit - look for similar styles.
