I usually have mirrors hung between 44-48" above the floor. If it is a medicine cabinet, you always have to be careful of the faucet height so the door won't hit.

It is hard to comment on the color because we can't see it in reference to the vanity. Try standing in your tub and taking a selfie over your shoulder - you might be able to get the whole wall.

It looks like the paint color is warm and all the tile is cool so it feels slightly off.

The bottom of the mirror is at a good height, specially if you are short, but I would have used a taller medicine cabinet/mirror to fill some more of the space.

The size looks appropriate. You could also use a taller cabinet if you like, but you might not reach the top shelf.

I feel like the space between the backsplash and bottom of medicine cabinet is too short/narrow. And perhaps too much space between top of cabinet and ceiling

If you don't like it, move the mirror up.

Not sure which color you are questioning, but I love the colors of the cats with the flooring tile!

would have been balanced if you put a light fixture over the vanity. Its just dead space. I would just allow yourself to finish the decor and adjust.

I agree to finish your decor before you decide if you want to move anything. The mirror/cabinet is really fine as is. It just looks a bit lonely because there is nothing around it, also with the wall color, it sort of fades into the background a bit.

A wallpaper on that wall could set it off. And/or some wall sconces; you could use battery operated sconces.

I think the mirror is fine, needs sconces, as others have mentioned.

I am chiming in to say that I love your choices, especially the floor.

There have been threads in some of these forums in the past about decorating around pets' colors, and your cats on that floor would be a great example! So cute.
