My first thought is Rudbeckia hirta.

My Plant.net phone app gives it a 42% chance of being Cynoglossum creticum, part of the Borage family. It is native to the Mediterranean basin including the isle of Crete, but is an invasive in Texas and Missouri. There was a 5% chance of it being Oenothera macrocarpa (Missouri primrose).

Cynoglossum creticum has entire leaf margins, a silver patina from pubescence, wider petioles in the rosette and clasping leaves on the stem, and undulated leaves. Oenothera macrophylla usually has glabrous leaves and stems with glossy leaves. This is Rudbeckia hirta. I see some serration in the leaves. The earliest rosette leaves dont show much serration.
