This species is a hardy native annual or biennial plant. It will not overwinter successfully in the house. If needs to remain outdoors. It is not a perennial, so you just have to hope it will self sow and produce offspring next year.

It will form seed quickly so there is plenty of time if you plant it now. Lotsa winter here too!

Indeed Ontario! Snow country as well. It is now pouring so planting must wait. Tomorrow I shall...:-)
