Ha! It took me years to find a coffee table I liked! I think the first one you showed is a bit boring for your space. Your space can handle something a bit more unique.

I’m a bit confused about the furniture arrangement, since photos often don’t depict dimensions well. How far is the loveseat from the TV ? It looks so far away. I’m assuming the room is mostly for TV. And so who sits where and what do you want the coffee table to do? Does anyone like to put their feet up? If it’s for drinks/ snacks which seating should it be oriented toward?

Thanks for commenting! The loveseat is 15 ft from the tv but there is no trouble viewing, We put our feet on a 'pouf' when sitting on the loveseat, but it's not in the photos. We had a farmhouseish 54x24 coffee table and worked well, size-wise. The set up of the room is quite comfortable as the brown leather chair is a recliner. My dilemma is the style and texture of a new coffee table.
