Bathroom remodel

I’m doing a glossy white 10x24 tile on shower walls. Thinking about porcelain white Carrera hexagon tile in shower and a 17x17” white carrera tile that looks like diamonds. My question if they are similar in color can you use different shapes ?

Sorry too many shapes of tile IMO best is a bathroom done in a simple choice of tile with minimal grout lines . I like 12 x24 porcelain tile for both bathroom floors and shower walls a smaller tile sam e type for shower floors . My reason is this allows you to change simple things for a actual look change . I even use matching grout to keep it simple . I think hex tiles are a dated look if this is a really traditionl bathroom then maybe the tile with the black dots and the plain marble for the shower no dots but 12 x24 size. Maybe show us the actul other choices in the spac elike the vanity which IMO drives the style . Never mix real and fake look marble together they do not work

If you were my client, I'd suggest a 2x2 square mosaic in place of the elongated hex.

Floor to the left and trying to decide for the shower floor Hex or square ??

You can use different shapes but where are they going? Main floor ? Shower floor? Back of a niche? If it is main floor and shower floor, then I would do a square mosaic - if you have a good tiler, you could lay it in a diamond pattern like that larger tile is.

I wasn’t clear the tile on the left is the bathroom floor. Trying to decide between the two on the right for the shower floor. Wasn’t sure if I could do the hex. I do appreciate the tip on laying them as a diamond !

I would do the squares. The hex tiles just don't seem to relate with that floor tile.

Keep the diamond/square pattern for the shower walls, then do black tile for the flooring. Go with 2 x 2's on the shower floor and 12 x 12 on the rest of the bath floor. Then you don't have to worry about matching the marble look.

Our old bath had white tile with black dots and we got tired of it and ripped it out. I'm not sure about black floors, it would show a lot of lint and dust.

I like white marble for the shower and countertop or in your case quartz.. We have gray tile for the floor and matching gray shower floor but in a mosaic for the shower floor. The shower threshold is white marble....very nice look against the gray floors. Vanity is similar to yours.

Cool. If you have a half-wall or pony wall shower, tile all of it... no sheetrock on the outside. Looks fantastic in marble. Cohesive.
