My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Yes, the stringer is powder-coated steel. It is steel plate, not a channel or "I-beam."

    Love this staircase. Is it natural steel with a clear coat finish? Or is it painted? How did you achieve the minimal look? So many of these types of railings look clunky!

    It's field painted steel, not powder-coated. Due to the amount of field assembly, powder-coating would not have been practical. Minimalism takes a lot of time and editing. It's easy to be modern- hard to be minimal. There were at least 4 study models and many drawings used to determine the final design!
