Thick melamine aka ikea or the thin contact paper type you can feel the texture of the mdf through? The ikea stuff is incredibly tough, the Home Depot stock cabinet version is not.

I ordered rolls of cork to line all my drawers and shelves. It has a bit of cush and things don’t slide when I close the drawers. In case you’re interested, based on a recommendation from this forum I ordered from Widgetco.com.

Second the Ikea drawer liner. Price is unbeatable.

I used Plast-O-Mat. It is ribbed, which allows air under drinking glasses.

I also have ribbed plastic liners and love them - really easy to clean, last forever, and the cabinet/drawer interiors underneath still look like new. I would worry about keeping cork clean - especially in cabinets where food items are stored.
