I'm trying to reconfigure the master bed/bath to gain more closet space. I'm not opposed to a smaller bedroom but do want enough room to move about comfortably :) Drawn in are the measurements of our current furniture which, if possible, I would like to keep (I think the bed is probably a bit bigger as it does not take into consideration the sleigh bed frame). I'm thinking of extending into the front porch area that is in front of the bedroom. All other walls need to remain as I'm happy with the rest of the house. The entry to the bedroom should be toward the front as the rest of the bedroom abuts the kitchen and I do not want to enter from there. This is a "front" porch but the house is set back about 250' from the road and the area is wooded, so I'm on the fence about there being no window on that side.
