There is no one right answer. It's personal preference. As in any room, the wall color should complement the flooring and furniture, but after that, anything goes. Sample what you're considering on a large area so you get a better idea of how it will look in a whole room.

Definitely need to sample - ideally on all 4 walls. Depending on the light coming in the window(s), paint colors can look much different than on the swatch. In a northern facing room, for example, what looks like a nice subtle gray on a swatch can turn to lavender when up on the wall.

I am assuming that you keep posting new questions instead of adding comments to your other posts and we are talking about the same office.

You are in the right ballpark for the office. I might target s slightly higher LRV - but somewhere in the ballpark of 63.

Modern Gray is one of the SW Best Sellers, as are Natural Linen and Accessible Beige.

People do seem to be getting away from gray and going to warmer neutrals and they seem to be moving a bit lighter.

Looking at the pictures of the space on the other posts I might try Natural Linen.

I also am showing Natural Tan and Accessible Beige as alternatives that have a little less pink and a little more green.

I think they others are closer to the match for your flooring, but without seeing it in person I can't be sure. Look at the colors next to the flooring in the brightest natural daylight you can get - At the entry of the store with the door open. If Natural tan looks green or accessible Beige looks a bit too green modern Gray, Natural Linen and Soft Suede should look really neutral.

If Natural Tan and Accessible Beige look really neutral the others will look just a bit too pink/purple.

You need to get decent sized samples, not just the little cards from SW. I order from Sampleze because I don't want to make my own and they cost about the same as a sample jar.

I also use Samplize…very helpful. Their swatches are large and done with the actual paint vs computer generated.
