Taj Mahal (beautiful!) ranges in tone from creamy beige to more grey, so like Hallett says please post some pictures of yours installed. If your counters aren't in yet, please wait until they're installed so you can see tile samples in your space and lighting.

In the meantime, there have been many posts on tiles with Taj Mahal, so you might get some ideas from them. (Link to a search.) Two that I remember as beautiful were Dahlia by Sonoma Tiles (comes in many colors) and Nottingham by Ann Sacks, but I can't find that one available any more. @chispa posted several ideas in this thread and others have posted examples using various shades of Chloe tile or crackle finishes.
