Colors of vanity, fixtures? Natural light? How big is the bathroom?

We too didn't want a cool white in our bathroom and used the 0100 subway tile. We paired it with a 1" hex Daltile arctic white D617. They go well together. You have to also consider the colors of your fixtures. Arctic white seemed bright at first but then we realized that our sink and tub were so white, that the arctic white wasn't too bright in comparison. Get your tiles in place and then select the paint color. There are hundreds of white paints to choose from but just a few tiles.

Also, if you budget is sizable and you have time to wait for custom tiles you can look at other hex's from different companies with warmer whites. When we were looking we found warmer white hex's that were about 4 times the cost and took 16 weeks to order.

If you border with the black the whites won't look obviously

The Keystones color body porcelain almost exactly match the 0100 White color. They come in several ready made black and white designs, including a 1" hex and a 1" penny.

Thank you everyone for comments. To answer some of the above questions. It's a very small bathroom in a 1911 house, my husband is doing the work himself (always a learning process here). White ikea hemnes vanity (it's the best on storage for a small bathroom!), white porcelain tub, white wood paneling. So far the best match on the floor tiles are the ones from home depot. In natural light outside they actually match the 0100 subway tile perfectly. Inside, even in the warm lighting it's more of a contrast. We do plan on incorporating black in some kind of border. We don't want to wait 16 weeks or pay 4x the cost of tiles, but out of curiosity--where did you find those tiles Kendrah?

On another note--anyone ever use BM Simply white in a bathroom? I have that color on most of the trim in our house and on several walls and for the most part love it but wondering if it will be too off white in a bathroom with all the white porcelain features. Really hard to tell with my 8x11 sample size.
