First address the lighting it is important that now both spaces have the same light I like LED 4000K for bulbs but 3500K is fine less than that makes all the stuff including the walls have ayellow glow. The light in the DR is oaky I guess but you can do better . I would really declutter and post pics agian. As for wall color IMO the green is nice . I rarely like blues in living spaces thay so often look baby blue unless really dark and in your space for sure no dark walls .I love this green I often cut it 50% to just have a hint of color it is close to what you have and it is a BM color That table looks so small have you thought about a round one there and no rug it would I think make that space feel bigger .Do you need the blind on the window IMO adds to the eye clutter in that tiny kitchen and when the frdige dies do a counter depth one in that tiny space.

Find a green that works in both spaces. I would paint all your trim the same color as the wall color so you don't have as much white popping.

I like the white trim, and I dont mind the blind, but, you need to pull it up higher, so more window light comes in. I agree, all lighting 4000, or at least 3500 Daylight type bulbs. The healing aloe is a nice color to paint both rooms.

Not sure why you are installing a tile back splash when you already have a back splash. That 4" piece of counter top is your back splash. One or the other, not both. I think a green color for paint would work best.

The shade of green mentioned is a good one.

I too was wondering why you have two backsplashes and if you ever keep the blind up. The diamonds in the window really inform the look of the kitchen. I like them.

Same question regarding the backsplash. Definitely remove the current 4” splash before adding another. Agree Healing Aloe could be nice for the walls.

I love healing aloe, used it in my own home, but next to white cabinets. I am wondering if it is too light with the rich wood cabinets. Maybe something with a bit more depth and not so blue green. October mist is one of my go to greens. Saybrook Sage and SOft Fern are top selling greens.

I have had revere pewter in my open concept kitchen, dining and living room for 9 years now and I still like it. It goes well with my art work, and hardwood floors, seems complementary to most colors. Other than I recently installed a new vanity in the bathroom that has a white grey marble like top and it did not go well with that. Revere pewter does change hues depending on the time of day, sometimes can lean a little on the green, but this doesn't bother me, because in the next hour or so it's back to its nice neutral self.

I have a Sister-In_law who just had her main living areas (kitchen, dining, Livingroom and halls) painted in Revere Pewter and my niece just moved from a home where she had used Revere Pewter as the main neutral.

It is a beautiful earthy, organic neutral color that works well in most homes and, based on the colors I am seeing in the pictures you posted, I would think it would be beautiful in your home.

That said, you need to test any color before committing to it. Every home has different lighting and sometimes we don't get exactly what we expect if we don't test the colors..

I agree with Jennifer about using a much darker and greener color with your honey oak. Healing Aloe is a lovely color but it's not going to give you much oomph against the oak.

I have Revere Pewter in my kitchen but I have white cabinets and a grayish backsplash that works well with it. It's fairly light and I think it will fade away against the oak just the way Healing Aloe will.
