When I was cleaning up my garden a couple months ago, I found a nice looking volunteer tomato plant growing. I decided to pot it up and see how it would do in the house. I'm excited to see it has set fruit.

I grew volunteer tomatoes this year. They weren't the best ...they came from pieces of a Roma tomato that I tossed, but very prolific. I had around 100 tomatoes from 4 plants. I also grew about a dozen volunteer watermelons.

I planted a variety of grape tomato called Mighty Sweet from Burpee. I think that's what it is.

Cherry/Grape tomatoes do well in containers so you should get a decent crop, though you may need to switch to a bigger container as the plant grows larger.
