well I would need to see the concept drawing or the space. But one thing i will say, the brass/gold finish does not have to match exactly. IT is very hard for the eye to discern from a distance. that being said stainless may disappear more into the the room. I would not do bronze, maybe mixed metal and glass

You can do your gold hardware mixed with polished Nickel..will be gorgeous…nothing needs to match your door handles throughtout the house in the bronze…what style are you wanting in lighting? are you going fir a more classic traditional look?

Thank you! We are going for a more traditional look. There is an hearth room attached to the kitchen that will have more of a rustic feel, but overall we are traditional.

how tall are the ceilings? You will need to keep that in mind with rod lengths, and cord. They look tall in the drawing but that just maybe the drawing.

They are tall, 12 feet

This is what we decided on for our kitchen…polished nickel…but comes in other finishes.

I do have that on my list for possible options! I was also considering these in polished nickel.

However, my husband likes the look of this by Visual Comfort, it comes in polished nickel and gilded iron (which could match the honey bronze cabinet hardware), but would need to find coordinating pendant lights for the breakfast bar...

All beautiful choices…a bit of a french touch the one your husband likes..he might like the french crystal globe….I think it comes in a small size that could be used over breakfast bar area

Do you have the lighting plan? You will notice that clear glass just give off the look of light bulbs and gets no real light down to the work surface. The ones you like will also only give ambient lighting. So if you have no forced down light over the island you might want to consider frosted glass or metal. The scale of the ones you like is good tho, for

Ah, yes, good point! We have 10 can lights placed in a rectangle around the outside of the island. But would probably want down light for the pendants over the breakfast bar.

Make sure the pendents over the island are on a dimmer..we love to turn them low when entertaining or setting up a buffet on the island for the holidays… the can lights are all you really need for when working/cooking in the kitchen.
