I think the rug selection is a bit blah. You can do better.

I was really hesitant on getting this specific coffee table but felt like a bigger coffee table would look a bit odd with the couches ..it’s almost a U shape ..but this style table looks really nice also …and the carpet is definitely going …my in laws put it there without asking me ….😅lol

needs something that stands high. For curtains, I recommend this hanas curtain, which allows for easy switching between light filtering and blackout. Standing high also improves the visual appeal.

Hard to tell without measurements. But it looks like it gives you enough room for a pathway. You could push it back under the couch portion of the sectional. The color is a good one for the room. Why get something else? Suggest you finish off the room, live with the rug and see if it works for you before changing it out at this time. Just a thought.
