Dining Table Wood Color?

Hello. We are ready to replace our dining we quickly bought when moving to our new home.

Trying to determine the right color
wood for the room since every color wood is beautiful to me. I’ve included all angles of the great room - the only thing that doesn’t show is that the center island kitchen cabinets and sides (not side facing couch) are dark brown.

Indecisiveness is so frustrating!

The table in the corner is the one being replaced? Are you keeping the chairs? What don’t you like about the current table?

@hallett & Co it doesn’t feel special to me. And the finish is wearing off and wood markers don’t work. The chairs are mid-century so I’d probably keep them.

A color similar to the frame of the TV console would be a good place to start.

Why not just a wood base in a color you already have in other wood pieces and do a nice glass top nice and thick glass . If you keep the chairs find a wood that closely matches the chairs for the base

We don't know how many regularly use the table. A light tone can fit it and be more of a focal point with a round extendable top and modern base.

Labelled as oak veneers. This is made in Indonesia so the species appears to be a European Oak without the open grain of domestic white oak. You also get flat cut veneer with more figure from those species. Photos of the piece actually offered would be mandatory. It's easy to change your console, though not necessary.
