Where to find good quality bath mats?

Looking for machine washable and dryable towel-like bath mats that you put down for when stepping out of the tub or shower and then pick up and hang the rest of the day rather than leaving them on the floor all day.

I have seen the basic type on Amazon, but they all look too flimsy and are not thick and plush enough.

I was looking at mats from linensociety.com, but they all were all saying there was a three to five week wait for shipping. They were also more expensive than expected, especially for something I can’t see in person before buying. I have no idea if the quality justifies the prices or why shipping takes that long.

People are saying Company Store merchandise quality has gone downhill since they were bought by Home Depot. However, maybe the bath mats are still good enough quality and they can be purchased through Home Depot which makes purchasing a bit more convenient.

If I go to Target or Ikea, at least I will be able to see and touch the mats and see exactly what I’m getting before making a purchase.

Check Target. There are several available. The one I got has a nice weight to it.

Check The Company Store. I got a very nice quality, machine washable bath mat during their BF sale.

My favorite are at ikea. 3/8” thick and they are heavy enough to stay in place but machine wash easily. No rubber backing

Went to Restoration Hardware in person only for them to tell me they can order it for me to ship to my home and they have nothing in the showroom.

Macys had zero of that style of Hotel Collection mats in stock despite having signage listing pricing. I asked if they really sold out of everything in every color and they told me they never received any to sell.

Ended up finding a Nordstrom branded mat at Nordstrom that looks and feels good.

Not a bathmat per se, but for my master bath I ordered a sheepskin rug from overland.com. I figured the natural skin would be waterproof and I love stepping out of the shower onto this fluffy beauty daily.

In other bathrooms in my home, I have all cotton mats by Ralph Lauren that are nice quality and stand up to the washer.
