I recently bought a toto toilet and am unhappy with the height. It's called universal height but is slightly higher than my Carolina toto which I have in another bathroom. The salesman at toto said that universal height is the only one they sell now. I find it uncomfortable. He said that only thing I can do is swap the seat for a thinner one. He suggested a Bemis seat made by Church 540EC. I doesn't fit exactly but the size is ok. What does bother me is that its not soft close. Anyone have a suggestion?
